WELDING TECHNOLOGY 1080 Clock Hours (9 months) Postsecondary and High School Students Welding students learn the processes of cutting and joining metals by heat, pressure or both, as well as the cutting of metal by gas and arc processes. With extensive hands-on experience, graduates may enter welding and manufacturing or fabrication positions in a variety of fields. Apprenticeship opportunities with over 10 skilled craft unions are available through the Construction Apprenticeship Tech Prep Consortium for graduates. American Welding Society
certification is available by appointment during the day at ATS. Employment Opportunities: Maintenance welder, welding
