PROFESSIONAL COOKING  900 Clock Hours (8 months)

High School Students

Professional Cooking teaches students to master the fundamental skills of food service in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, catering, etc. The program contains daily classroom instruction with practical experience operating the school cafeteria, public meetings and banquets.

Employment Opportunities:

Cook, caterer, baker, food counter worker, waiter, waitress, etc.
Starting salary range = $9-15 per hour
Experienced salary = $25,000-35,000 per year
