HEALTH CAREERS 250 Clock Hours High School Only This is a one semester course which prepares a high school senior to become a state certified CNA and provide direct patient care (taking vital signs, assisting with nourishment consumption, dressing and undressing, hair and nail care, personal hygiene, etc.). The student will also spend time at a pre-assigned clinical setting. At the end of the semester, the high school senior is eligible to take the state exam for a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license. The student must pass the state exam to work as a CNA. Employment Opportunities: Nurse aides (CNA) in acute,
